T-audio MP-101 internet radio
The T-audio MP-101 is an internet radio, tuner and Media player and part of the T-audio portfolio. This music source also has a USB connection, LAN, Wi-Fi connection, Multi-room, Remote App, Bluetooth and RS232. The MP-101 is a 19″ model for easy mounting in a 19″ rack. This makes the MP-101 a very complete solution suitable for any project.
Versatile music source
The internet radio has access to more than 20,000 channels, has the ability to listen to broadcasts and podcasts again and can remember ten preferred channels. To easily play MP3, AAC(+), WMA, WAV or FLAC music files, the radio needs a connection to a USB flash stick or a hard drive. You can also connect to a computer via the local network. With Universal Plug & Play media sharing, devices can play music from a shared media library and navigate through tag menus such as artist, album, and genre. DAB/DAB+ offers digital radio with a wide choice of channels and digital broadcast. This function can also remember ten preset stations. The FM function, with Radio Data System (RDS), also has the option to remember ten preset stations. The radio also has Bluetooth, Remote APP/Multi Room and an Aux input for external music sources, such as MP3 players.
Easy to use
The internet radio has multiple network profiles for easy installation in any application and for use in every industry. When the device is started for the first time, it is guided through an installation wizard to configure date & time and network settings. Once this is complete, the system is ready for use in most modes. The radio can be easily operated with the buttons on the front. A large 2.7-inch LCD screen makes easy navigation possible; it provides clear information display with six lines of text and comprehensible status icons. In the various menus settings can be adjusted. For every (un)successful adjustment or error, a message is displayed for a few seconds. Via the main menu, the various music sources and various functions can be selected. The standby mode shows time and date and any active alarm times. Multiple independent alarms can be set at the same time. The clock function also has a sleep/snooze mode: during playback, the radio goes into standby after the set time. And vice versa, the radio can also be switched on from standby at a specified time, complete with snooze capability. During radio/music playback, information is displayed on the screen about, for example, the date, signal reliability, a playback buffer, the audio source, the radio station, artist, song title and genre. The menu can be displayed in no fewer than thirteen different languages: Danish, German, English, Finnish, French, Italian, Dutch, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, Turkish and Swedish. This means that every end user can easily operate this fantastic internet radio.
Requirements for using all functions
To operate the internet radio, an AC power source of 230 Volts is required. The functions of internet radio and network music player functions require a wired (Broadband Ethernet) or wireless (Wi-Fi) network. For the music player function, the internet radio needs access to a music library stored on either the network or a USB mass storage device. An external audio source is needed for Aux in mode. The internet radio comes with a 2.4G antenna, an FM antenna wire, an AV wire, a power cord and a remote control. This infrared remote control operates in a similar way as the buttons on the front panel of the radio itself. The following connectors can be found on the radio: Ethernet (RJ45), audio out, headphones out, line in and line out.
